i’m glad that july is finally over. it’s been so hot i can’t sleep. my days are startng to get really fuzzy. a gorgeous boy hurt my feelings. what else is new. i’m feeling like a teenager again. in the bad way this time. it sounds way more dramatic than it actually is. my heart has just been through a lot lately. i’m trying to protect it but i think i’m just hurting it more. nothing bad is happening to me. im getting weirder every day and that’s a blessing. these songs are keeping my feet on the ground. everything is fine

i’ve been listening to these ones over and over and over and over and it’s making me sick. i wish i was at elm street on the swingset with ana. i think im going to become really annoying when i get back to gardner. sometimes i feel like i was never supposed to leave home. i think i need to get back on tumblr. reconnect with nature. . . . anyway. what is meant to find you will, and what isn’t meant for you will leave but it will almost kill you first.

last week i spent a lot of time on busses, on trains, and in cars. boston to athens, athens to cincinnati, cincinnati to flatbush, flatbush to manhattan, manhattan to virginia beach, virginia beach to boston. i listened to songs i’ve loved for a long time and i was dreaming about living on the same street as my best friend again. mostly it made me feel old. this week morale is low. i’m trying to have a good attitiude about everything but the state of the world is wearing me down. i’m letting myself sit in this feeling for now. i think it’s fine.
better days are coming.
god is good all the time.

songs for the week ahead. i am busy busy busy. . . i’m ready for summer. my heart is broken into little pieces and i’m feeling tired - but i’m trying to stay hopeful. i want to go home and sleep in my moms bed today. im going through changes. i want to sleep on a big rock next to the ocean. i want someone to brush my teeth for me. i want to go swimming. i keep having dreams about being an old lady. it makes me want to cry. i hope you are feeling fine.
